Liebherr SC5781 EasyFresh and NoFrost Fridge-Freezer Repair

The SC5781 is a combined fridge-freezer with an EasyFresh fresh-food area and a NoFrost freezer. A model like this goes into a kitchen alcove or a tall cabinet bay, where the air around it matters as much as anything inside.
When one comes in for repair, we begin by confirming the temperatures at both doors, then pull the freezer panel to see the evaporator. Heavy frost there means the defrost heater, sensor or timer has stopped doing its job. We follow with the fan and the drain tube, since water found on the fridge floor tracks back to a drain that has iced up. Door seals finish the inspection. You get a written price before we order a part.
The repair is covered by our 30-day workmanship warranty.
EasyFresh is the fresh-food area of the fridge. Service there is the same as any fridge compartment: we check the seal, the airflow from the fan and the sensor so that food keeps the temperature you set.
Look for frost on the freezer back wall, ice on the floor of the compartment, or a freezer that is cold at the top and soft at the bottom. Any of those tells us the defrost cycle is not running.
Most cooling problems on this type of unit come from a fan, a heater or a sensor, which cost far less than a new fridge. We quote in writing first, so you decide with the full price in front of you.
