On Liebherr Monolith MRB, MF and MCB columns such as the MRB 3000, MF 3051 and MCB 3050, the panel shows "Temperature Alarm" rather than TEMPERATURE TOO HIGH. It means the inside temperature was too high. Check the quality of what is stored, because food that warmed up has to be judged before you eat it. The alarm clears once the set temperature has been reached again.
1. Close doors firmly and check the seals. 2. Avoid loading warm food until the alarm clears. 3. Inspect food and discard anything warm or off. 4. Wait until the alarm clears on its own; that happens when the set temperature is reached. If the alarm returns with doors closed, call us.
The interior got too warm. The causes to look at are an open door, warm food or an outage. The alarm clears itself once the set temperature is reached.
Judge by how warm and how long. Milk, meat and leftovers that sat warm for hours should be discarded. Items that stayed cold to the touch are fine.
When the alarm comes back with doors shut and no new food. Then the column is not cooling properly, and we diagnose it and quote the price before work.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
