Liebherr HW 4800 Integrated Multi-Zone Wine Cabinet Repair

The HW 4800 is a 24-inch wine cabinet built to sit flush behind a custom panel, in a butler pantry, a dining room alcove or beside a bar. It has separate temperature zones, so one set of bottles can be kept cooler than another.
Zone control is where we spend most of our time. We read the temperature in each zone, compare it with the display and test the sensors that report to the board. Door alerts lead us to the switch and the seal. We also watch the defrost cycle, since a coil that stays iced makes the zones swing. Panel removal comes first, and a written price comes before any part is ordered.
When the repair is done we refit the panel and confirm both zones with a probe. The work carries a 30-day warranty.
A zone sensor has drifted or its wire has loosened. We place a probe in the zone, compare it with the display and replace the sensor if the two disagree.
We test the door switch, then the gasket and the hinge alignment. A panel that has shifted slightly can keep the switch from registering, so we adjust the fit.
For most work, only the shelves nearest the cooling section. We tell you in advance, and we handle bottles carefully so labels and sediment stay undisturbed.
