Liebherr CI1650 Paneled Refrigerator Repair

The CI1650 combines a hidden custom panel, a right-hinged refrigerator door and an IceMaker. That is a lot happening behind a flush cabinet front. It also means two kinds of wear pull in different directions: mechanical on the door, mineral on the water path.
On arrival we test the door first. A heavy panel on a decade-old hinge can pull the seal off the cabinet at the bottom, and warm air entering there loads the freezer. Then we turn to the IceMaker: valve flow, inlet screen, tube, and the mold fill. Last come the defrost system and the fans.
We remove and refit the panel for door work and keep the floor protected near the water connection. You see the written price before we begin, and the work is backed by a 30-day workmanship warranty.
Scale in the fill valve and tube restricts water, so each tray fills partway. We test flow, clean the screen, and replace the valve if it no longer opens fully.
These panels are cut and hinged for a right-hand swing. Reversing means new hardware and cabinet changes, so we talk through the clearance and your cabinetry before anything is changed.
A loose panel is a sign the hinge points are wearing. We tighten them, check the gasket for compression and test the closing action, since a gap there is what lets frost start.
