An SC7541IM is a fridge-freezer pairing EasyFresh with a NoFrost freezer. Because each section is cooled by a shared evaporator, trouble in the fan or defrost system shows in both at once.
We approach it in order. First the door seals and hinges, since a poor seal is the simplest way to lose cold. Second the control and temperature sensors, which tell the compressor when to run. Third the NoFrost parts at the back of the freezer: the evaporator coil, the heater and the fan. Finally the drain and its pan.
