On the freezer part of the Liebherr WF1061, the WF 1061, the power failure symbol appears when the freezer temperature rose too high during a power interruption. The display offers the warmest temperature reached, and pressing the Alarm button clears that stored figure. Read the number first, since it tells you how far the freezer part warmed and how much of the food has thawed.
1. Read the warmest temperature shown. 2. Check the frozen items and discard any that thawed. 3. Press the Alarm button to clear the stored figure. 4. Keep the door closed meanwhile. If the symbol returns without any outage, call us.
It is the highest temperature the freezer part reached during the power interruption. Use that figure to judge which frozen food is still safe to keep.
Press the Alarm button after you have read the figure. That removes the stored warmest temperature and ends the warning on the freezer part. Read the number first, because pressing the button erases it.
Food on the freezer part that still has ice crystals and feels cold can stay frozen. Fully thawed or warm items should be cooked right away or discarded.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
