On Liebherr WF1061 and WK wine cabinets such as the WKb 1812, DEMO lighting up means demo mode is active. The display works, but the cooling circuit is switched off, so bottles are not being chilled. On the WF models customer care deactivates it, so a unit showing DEMO from a display floor needs that step before any bottles go inside.
1. Confirm DEMO is lit and the interior is not cooling. 2. Do not load bottles until cooling starts. 3. Call us or customer care to deactivate demo mode on a WF. 4. After deactivation check that the temperature begins to fall.
DEMO means demo mode is on, which keeps the cooling circuit off for display use. Bottles will not be chilled until the mode is deactivated.
On the WF models, customer care deactivates it. Call us and we will coordinate that step. Afterwards the cooling circuit starts and the temperature begins to fall.
Not by itself, but the cabinet is not cooling, so wine warms to room temperature. Do not store bottles you care about until DEMO is cleared and cooling is confirmed.
A technician diagnoses it on site and gives you the price in writing before any work starts.
